"My work has consistently developed along two main lines of thought. The first one is that of abstraction based on observation of nature. The second one includes a narrative format that hearkens back to more classical forms. I believe in the power of the visual image to convey ideas. Some of the most rewarding moments for me during the process of creating a sculpture for the public is when I am able to give substance to communal desires. I see myself as an interpreter of stories, histories and issues translating them into a work reflecting a unique vision."
